Meet Grace
Grace Song, MPT
I’m a registered physiotherapist with specialized expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion recovery, balance disorders, and fall prevention, providing mobile, in-home physiotherapy for adults and seniors.
I believe care is most effective when it’s delivered in the environment that matters, focused on quality of life, and supported by education for both clients and their families. My approach is calm, evidence-based, and centered on helping people feel steadier, safer, and more confident in their daily lives.
Why In-Home?
01
One less barrier to access the care you need
For those living with dizziness or fall risk, even getting to a clinic can feel like too much.
02
More relevant, comfortable, and effective care
Recovery works best in the place where you feel safest and spend most of your time.
03
Less travel. Less rush. More time for life.
When care comes to you, there’s less rushing, less fatigue, and more space for meaningful recovery.
What to Expect
Dizziness and balance problems can feel unsettling. My goal is to make your care feel clear, calm, and confidence-building - from the very first visit.

Your First Visit
1. We start with your story
We’ll talk through your symptoms, triggers, and how dizziness is affecting your daily life.2. Comprehensive vestibular assessment
Testing may include eye movement assessment (often using infrared goggles), balance testing, positional testing for BPPV, and head/neck movement screening. Everything is explained, paced, and adjusted to your comfort level.3. Treatment often begins right away
If appropriate, treatment may include BPPV maneuvers, customized vestibular exercises, balance retraining, and practical strategies to reduce symptom flare-ups. -

After the Visit
After your visit, you’ll be provided with a clear explanation of your findings and a simple, personalized home program designed to support steady improvement without overloading your system. Follow-up visits are used to monitor changes, fine-tune treatment, and gradually progress exercises so you can return to daily activities — such as walking, driving, work, and exercise — with greater confidence and stability.
When symptoms resolve or you’re managing confidently on your own, we’ll complete care with a maintenance plan and optional post-discharge check-in to ensure progress lasts.
Your Questions, Answered
How will I feel during the visit?
You may notice brief dizziness or fatigue during parts of the assessment or treatment — this is normal and closely monitored. Everything is paced to your comfort, with breaks as needed, and you’ll never be pushed beyond what feels manageable. Most people leave feeling reassured and clear about next steps.
Do I need a doctor’s referral before starting therapy?
No. You can contact Steady Steps Physio directly. Referrals are welcome but not required. Specific insurance providers may require one. We can guide you on the best steps for your situation.
Do you provide direct billing?
Yes, I offer direct billing for some private insurances. Also, receipts are provided after each session for reimbursement. If you have questions about coverage, you’re welcome to reach out before booking.
